I’ve known Ulrike Dieterle since the early - mid 1990’s through a number of neighborhood groups and near west side issues.  In that time period our paths crossed numerous times in various capacities — be it volunteering for Sunset Village Community Association Board and their annual activities, establishing the Friends of Hoyt Park, and being a neighborhood representative on the Hoyt Park Area Joint Neighborhood Plan. I could always rely on her to follow through on assignments and take on leadership roles. Her thoughtful input and ideas always reflected what’s best for the area. She understands the importance of communication in representation and decision making.  District 5 will be well served having Ulrike as their Alderperson.
